About The Position
The Kitchen Clerk performs work in food preparation and service, product stocking, and maintaining clean, supplied work areas. The position is part-time and permanent, averaging 29 hours per week or less. Applicants must be at least 18 years old; operating machinery requires being at least 18. This job description is not all-inclusive, and employees may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the organization’s ongoing needs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery.
- Frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Stand, walk, and crouch continuously for 8 hours.
- Continuously lift 20 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures.
- Serve customers and carry out food orders.
- Move product from the stockroom onto the sales floor.
- Return unused product to the stockroom in an orderly way.
- Keep assigned areas clean and fully supplied.
- Follow workplace safety practices.
