About The Position

The Chicken Kitchen Clerk helps grow the community by providing personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and create a brand-aligned experience. The clerk demonstrates superior guest service, maintains product quality and department sanitation and safety, and performs preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service tasks. The role also includes making public-address announcements and other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability and willingness to actively engage guests and have fun with them.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and take direction from them.

Responsibilities

• Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Ensure products for sale meet Lowes Foods quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as needed to achieve standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Make public-address announcements.
