About The Position

The Chicken Kitchen Clerk provides personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships and deliver a brand-aligned experience. The clerk demonstrates superior guest service, maintains product quality, sanitation, and safety standards, and performs preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest-service tasks as needed. The role also includes making PA announcements and completing other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability and willingness to actively engage guests and have fun with them.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds consistently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and the technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest-service, and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to communicate effectively with and take direction from supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Personally demonstrate superior guest service at all times.
• Ensure products for sale meet Lowes Foods quality standards.
• Maintain department sanitation and safety according to Lowes Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest-service tasks as needed to achieve standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Make PA announcements.
