About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Kitchen Assistant is to set tables, bus tables, wash dishes, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• No prior experience required — we'll train you!
• Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to support a clean, safe dining environment for residents
• Keep pace in a fast-moving kitchen alongside the culinary team
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen and dish area
• Support the dietary team in delivering a positive dining experience for residents
• Thoroughly wash all dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils.
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment.
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
• Help contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service.
• Set tables, bus tables, assist the Cook as needed, and complete cleaning duties.
