About The Position
KidStrong is coming to Madison Alabama Fall 2026! Join a workplace where you'll be part of a fun, energetic, and professional team that's passionate about making a difference. At KidStrong, we coach and mentor kids to help them become smarter, stronger, and more confident while empowering parents with the tools to support their child's growth. If you're looking for meaningful work that creates a lasting impact, we'd love to meet you! KidStrong is a science-based kids training program that builds strong, confident, high-character kids. We do this in weekly, 45 minute developmentally-appropriate classes. Each class includes unique science-based fitness games led by highly trained, kid-focused coaches.
Requirements
- Must be 17 or older
- Passion for working with children is non-negotiable!
- Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
- CPR certified
- Positive, motivating and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter who just gets a job done
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a pediatric OT, PT, teacher, personal trainer, or youth sports coach is a plus but it's not required.
- Prior experience coaching students within the appropriate KidStrong age is preferred
- Prior experience speaking to and educating parents on KidStrong curriculum
Responsibilities
- Lead high-energy classes focused on developing children's cognitive, physical, and character skills through our evolving, science-based curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with parents by confidently explaining the "why" behind what we teach and how it supports their child's development.
