Kids Club Manager - NEW Gym Opening!
About The Position
EōS Fitness is seeking a dependable, nurturing, and trustworthy Kids Club Manager to lead its childcare team. The role is suited to someone with meticulous attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and experience managing a Kids Club. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the manager communicates with children ages one to twelve, parents, staff, and gym management, and is responsible for children’s safety and well-being. The essential purpose of the role is to lead, coach, and train the Kids Club team to provide a safe, fun, and active environment for children. The manager oversees facility operations, staff coverage, reservations, records, safety procedures, activities, cleanliness, and customer service. When no children are present, the manager supports front desk and gym operations.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in childcare, daycare, or recreational programming.
- Knowledge of child development principles, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
- Passion for working with children and creating a nurturing, enriching environment for their growth and development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for Kids Club operating hours.
- Detail-oriented, systematic, and thorough approach to problem solving, with good time-management, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to work in a gym setting, move about club floors and rooms, and communicate with employees, members, and the public.
- Ability to bend routinely and repetitively and lift more than 40 lbs.
- Ability to access and operate the Company computer system, prepare documents, enter data, and read reports from a computer database or email system.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the Kids Club facility and maintain a safe and secure environment for children ages one to twelve.
- Supervise children’s activities and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Assist with hiring and training Kids Club staff, including Assistant Kids Club Managers and Kids Club Associates.
- Schedule staff shifts, ensure adequate coverage during operating hours, and monitor child-to-staff ratios.
- Manage reservations and child agreements, communicate efficiently with parents, and track bookings.
- Work with the Assistant Kids Club Manager to align team goals, coordinate daily and weekly tasks, and support efficient operations.
- Implement Kids Club emergency procedures, including evacuation plans and first aid protocols.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
- Develop age-appropriate activities, games, and crafts.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the Kids Club and throughout the gym, including regular club walks and bathroom checks.
- Provide prompt, professional customer service to parents and guardians and address inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Communicate Kids Club policies, procedures, and updates to parents, staff, and gym management.
- Foster positive relationships with members and maintain a welcoming Kids Club atmosphere.
- Support front desk and gym operations when no children are present.
