About The Position

The Kids Club Associate provides primary care for infants, organizes independent and group activities for toddlers, and directly supervises older children in a designated area of the gym. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of all children while they are in Kids Club care. The role also involves maintaining an orderly and sanitary play area, completing required paperwork, and communicating with parents or guardians when needed. Compensation is $10.00–$12.00 per hour. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.
Infant and Child First Aid and CPR.

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for children in a designated gym area while their parents or guardians attend the gym.
Organize and participate in recreational activities, including games.
Read to children and teach simple painting, drawing, crafts, and songs.
Care for children with special needs as needed, including securing them in chairs, slings, or other equipment.
Organize and store toys and materials to maintain order in the Kids Club area.
Maintain a fun and energetic demeanor.
Sanitize toys and play equipment and complete the daily cleaning checklist.
Help plan age-appropriate weekly activities.
Complete necessary paperwork.
Attend required staff meetings.
Page a parent or guardian when needed to address discipline or a child's personal needs, including diaper changing, changing clothes, and restroom assistance.
Ensure parents follow Kids Club policies and sign children in and out of the facility.
Use the Parental ID check-in process and take safety precautions when receiving and releasing children to a parent or legal guardian.
Ensure no drinks or food are brought into the Kids Club.
Remain accountable for children at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
