About The Position

The Kids Club Associate provides primary care for infants, organizes independent and group activities for toddlers, and directly supervises older children in a designated area of the gym. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of every child while in the Kids Club’s care. The role also includes maintaining an orderly and sanitized play area, supporting children’s personal needs, and following the Kids Club’s safety and sign-in/sign-out procedures. Compensation is $10.00–$12.00 per hour. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills.
Infant and Child First Aid and CPR.

Nice To Haves

2–3 years of childcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Care for children in a designated gym area while their attending members use the facility.
Organize and participate in recreational activities, including games.
Read to children and teach simple painting, drawing, crafts, and songs.
Care for children with special needs as needed, including securing them in equipment such as chairs and slings.
Organize and store toys and materials to keep the Kids Club area orderly.
Maintain a fun and energetic demeanor.
Sanitize toys and play equipment and complete the daily cleaning checklist.
Help plan age-appropriate weekly activities.
Complete necessary paperwork.
Attend required staff meetings.
Page a parent or guardian when needed to address discipline issues or a child’s personal needs, including diaper changing, changing clothes, and restroom assistance.
Ensure parents follow Kids Club policies and sign children in and out of the facility.
Follow safety precautions when receiving and releasing children, including the Parental ID check-in process.
Ensure that children do not have drinks or food in the Kids Club.
Remain accountable for children at all times.
Perform other duties as assigned.
