About The Position

This is a part-time internship position within the Corporate & Community Services department, reporting to the Community Education Coordinator. The intern will primarily assist with Lifelong Learning summer programming, specifically Kids College Camps, and will take responsibility for the health, well-being, and happiness of participants. The role also involves assisting with program and event promotion and coordination.

Requirements

• Current High School or College Student
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with other members of the college and community, displaying cultural competence as well as emotional intelligence.
• Must be available to work at all JJC campus locations and provide own transportation. (Mileage to satellite campuses will be reimbursed.)

• English and Spanish verbal and written communication proficiency.
• Demonstrated multicultural competence.
