About The Position

Favorite Daughter is the casually cool collection of wardrobe must-haves from sisters Sara and Erin Foster. We are looking for a person who helps our customers fall in love with our pieces and helps keep the store running smoothly. This role is a trusted right hand to the management team, responsible for opening and closing the store, building customer relationships, curating looks, and setting the tone for the team. It offers room for growth and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the store's success.

Requirements

4+ years of sales and clienteling experience at an elevated contemporary brand
Some key holder or leadership experience
Proven clienteling experience, preferably with an established client book
Confidence handling opening/closing duties, cash management, and store keys
A high school diploma or equivalent
Team-first attitude and customer-first instinct
Deep love and knowledge of the product
An eye for visual merchandising
Flexibility for retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs of merchandise
Comfort with POS systems
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

Experience with Endear clienteling software is a huge plus

Responsibilities

Open and close the store, handling keys, alarms, and cash-handling procedures with care
Act as manager-on-duty — running the sales floor, motivating the team, and driving sales whether the Store Manager is on-site or not
Set the pace for the team, modeling great selling and service every shift
Set sales goals and strive to exceed them
Connect with every customer: understand their needs, share product knowledge, and ensure they feel taken care of
Build and maintain a personal clientele
Maintain strong follow-up communication to grow client book
Bring the collection to life through visual merchandising — styling displays, refreshing mannequins, and keeping the floor set to brand standards
Handle operational essentials: floor changeovers, product transfers, restocking, and daily stock maintenance
Maintain store appearance: cleaning, tidying, and floor maintenance
Collaborate with the team to achieve store goals and maintain high energy
Own Loss Prevention on shifts, ensuring adherence to policies
Present a polished and on-brand appearance
