Key Holder - Short Pump Mall
About The Position
The Key Holder strategically manages and promotes a sales culture in a retail environment to achieve or exceed sales, KPI, and profitability goals through short- and long-term planning and expense control. This role ensures a consistently high customer experience in the Store in accordance with Psycho Bunny’s core values and service standards. The position reports to the Store Manager and is on-site at Short Pump Mall. The Key Holder builds customer engagement and loyalty, supports the recruitment and development of Team Members, maintains product knowledge, and helps lead store operations including scheduling, loss prevention, inventory, merchandise processing, and visual presentation. The role also supports workplace safety and compliance and collaborates with other team members to achieve store goals.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of retail management experience.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to foster a customer-focused selling culture.
Responsibilities
- Build a delighted and loyal customer base through engagement, conversion, and capturing customers’ phone numbers and email addresses.
- Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and succession planning for high-performing, results-driven Team Members.
- Maintain personal product knowledge and be responsible for Team Members’ product knowledge and ability to communicate it to customers.
- Control payroll and create service-driven schedules to support profitability while maintaining high customer service levels.
- Analyze customer profiles, buying trends, and competitive information to impact and drive business.
- Manage and monitor loss prevention.
- Achieve or exceed inventory and shrink goals and oversee and manage physical inventory.
- Execute and process incoming and outgoing merchandise, including transfers.
- Manage and communicate merchandise opportunities to the Store Manager.
- Execute and maintain visual directives and ensure the Store’s visual presentation meets or exceeds Psycho Bunny standards.
- Execute OSHA requirements to maintain a safe and compliant environment for Store Team Members and customers.
- Assist with other duties as required by the Store Manager.
- Collaborate with Psycho Bunny team members to achieve goals.
