About The Position

Cotton On is hiring a part-time Key Holder for its Paramus Park Mall store. The role is part of store management and involves opening and closing the store, leading the team, providing customer service, and supporting day-to-day retail operations. The Key Holder helps maintain inventory, merchandising, cleanliness, safety, and loss-prevention standards, and supports training and mentoring associates.

Requirements

• Retail experience, preferably in fast fashion.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and drive results as a team.
• Knowledge of basic retail principles, including sales, stock, and in-store service delivery.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Solid communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of retail sales experience.
• At least 1 year of acting retail leadership or management experience involving leading aspects of the business and developing team members.
• Ability to move around the store throughout the shift or workday.
• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to regularly squat or kneel.
• Ability to safely use a ladder, step stool, or raised platform.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Lead the store team as part of management.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control, restocking, and merchandising.
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
• Support loss-prevention efforts and report unusual activity.
• Engage professionally and respectfully with store teams and customers.
• Train and mentor new associates as needed.
• Collaborate with the team toward common goals.
• Maintain a professional presence and motivate and inspire others.
• Treat customers, managers, and peers respectfully.
