About The Position

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers primarily perform Coordinator duties and occasionally act as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. The role requires open availability, including nights and weekends. Key Carriers provide customer service, support store operations, coach Associates, and help maintain a safe and effective store environment.

Requirements

Open availability and ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.

Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.
Proven problem-solving skills.
Ability to coach, delegate, and follow up effectively on multiple people and tasks.
Ability to act quickly under challenging circumstances.
Ability to multitask.
Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
One year of retail experience and six months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Role-model exceptional customer service and create positive experiences for internal and external customers.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policy and procedure.
Ensure the store team completes tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues, provide appropriate coaching, and use discretion in applying customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures and execute opening and closing procedures according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities and progress updates accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback; provide coaching and recognition to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure adherence to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
