About The Position

The Key Carrier role is an elevated extension of the Coordinator role. Key Carriers predominantly perform Coordinator duties and occasionally act as Key Carrier, taking on a leadership role in maintaining all aspects of the store. They must have open availability, including nights and weekends, and serve as role models for exceptional customer service. The position includes acting as Manager on Duty, supporting store operations and Associates, and helping maintain a positive, safe, and compliant store environment.

Requirements

Knowledge of company standard software, systems, and procedures.
Knowledge of merchandise flow in stores.

Superior communication and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
1 year of retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Create a positive internal and external customer experience.
Promote honesty and integrity and maintain confidentiality.
Act as Manager on Duty in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Ensure the store team performs tasks and activities according to the store plan, prioritizing as needed.
Address immediate customer service issues and provide appropriate coaching to Associates.
Use discretion regarding customer service policies to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate Associate coverage in service areas.
Ensure Associates follow operational procedures.
Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed according to company guidelines.
Communicate priorities and updates accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Provide feedback, recognition, and coaching to Associates.
Partner with Management on Associate training needs.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Support and participate in shrink reduction goals and programs.
Promote safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
