About the position

This is an exceptional opportunity to join Tucows, one of the largest global entities in wholesale reseller services. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing some of the largest resellers in North America and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a "people person" with strong relationship-building skills and experience in the domain, SSL, and email industries. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and the chance to be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about making the Internet better.

Responsibilities

  • Grow revenue and business in North America
  • Lead all aspects of a portfolio of key accounts for wholesale domain, SSL, and email products
  • Help customers to grow
  • Identify business opportunities within the existing channel and cross-sell additional services
  • Maintain and execute strategic account plans in partnership with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with marketing promotions
  • Develop strong business relationships with customers
  • Understand and solve technical problems on a high-level
  • Gain industry knowledge in hosting, domains, and email
  • Work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment

Requirements

  • Experienced Key Account Manager with 3-5 years demonstrated ability in a similar role and a proven sales track record.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
  • Technical affinity and ability to understand technical problems on a high-level.
  • Industry knowledge (hosting, domains, email) is a great plus, the ability and willingness to gain this knowledge a must.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
