About The Position

Country View is hiring an experienced Kennel Attendant to provide hands-on care for dogs and cats staying at the practice. The role focuses on noticing and responding to each animal’s routines, behavior, appetite, and individual needs, and helping pets feel safe and comfortable while their families are away. Kennel work is active and sometimes messy, and includes supporting daily care routines and maintaining clean, comfortable spaces.

The position offers flexible scheduling with 4-hour shifts. It may suit someone seeking hands-on animal care work without a traditional 8-hour shift. Compensation is $14–$16 per hour, based on experience and role alignment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of kennel, boarding, veterinary, or animal care experience.
• Confidence and comfort working hands-on with dogs and cats.
• Dependability and attention to detail.
• Ability to keep up with the active, physical nature of kennel work.
• Ability to notice changes in an animal’s behavior, appetite, or routine and recognize when something deserves a closer look.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care for dogs and cats.
