About The Position
Animal Clinic of Honolulu is Hiring a Kennel Attendant! This is a full-time position. Our hospital offers comprehensive veterinary care including wellness services, surgery, dentistry, acupuncture, laser therapy, boarding, digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory diagnostics. Requirements
- Previous animal care or kennel experience is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Compassionate communication with clients and teammates.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and patients with warmth and professionalism.
- Provide compassionate care for boarding cats and dogs from admission through discharge.
- Feed, walk, monitor, and provide daily care for boarding patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, runs, laundry, and treatment areas while maintaining hospital cleanliness standards.
- Monitor patients for changes in behavior, appetite, or physical condition and communicate concerns promptly.
- Provide bedding, enrichment, and comfort care to help pets feel safe and relaxed.
- Practice Fear Free and low-stress animal handling techniques.
- Accurately document patient care and treatments in medical records.
- Support the veterinary team with daily hospital operations as needed.
