Windermere Animal Hospital•Fishers, IN

About The Position

Windermere Animal Hospital is hiring a part-time Kennel Attendant to care for boarding pets while their families are away. The role works every other weekend and on holidays, with Saturday and Sunday shifts from 7:30 a.m. to noon and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. If there are no boarding guests on a scheduled weekend, the attendant does not need to come in. The person in this role must be dependable, attentive to changes in an animal’s condition, and able to work independently. Previous kennel, pet care, or animal handling experience is helpful but not required; the team is willing to teach medication administration and boarding care. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience. Benefits include retirement savings options and matching, tuition support, referral bonuses, pet discounts, professional development and continuing education support, and other benefits. Some benefits are available only to full-time employees.
