About The Position

The K-12 District Success Lead, Northeast Region, is responsible for building and managing partnerships with school districts, Departments of Education (DOE), and Educational Agencies. This role involves scheduling meetings with decision-makers, booking teacher trainings, and promoting the adoption of Everfi's programs at the district and state levels. The position requires completing quarterly outreach to partners, providing data and progress updates, and maintaining strong relationships. The Lead will also assist in creating district strategies and objectives, developing project plans, and pitching long-term implementation plans and best practices to district administrators, demonstrating how Everfi aligns with state standards and curriculum plans. Monitoring and analyzing customer usage of Everfi programs to identify growth opportunities is key, as is staying current on K-12 system trends, education technology, and Everfi's platform. The role involves leading and supporting the regional team on MOUs, data sharing agreements, board approvals, teacher training, and implementation plans. Additionally, the Lead will leverage district relationships to plan regional student events, act as a liaison between K-12 districts and Everfi customers, attend and present at conferences, and draft RFP responses.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working with districts, Departments of Education and/or Education Agencies to deliver and activate services against defined goals
  • Demonstrated success meeting monthly and annual goals
  • Ability to navigate complex situations and relationships with external partners
  • Quick learner, resourceful and ability to troubleshoot technology
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Strong presentation skills, including proficiency with presentation, communication, and collaboration tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Asana, WebEx, Zoom, Groove, Fireflies, etc
  • Ability to travel on a flexible schedule at least 20% of the time

  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other data management systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage partnerships with school districts, Departments of Education (DOE), and Educational Agencies to schedule meetings with decision makers, book teacher trainings, and promote district and state adoption of Everfi
  • Complete quarterly outreach to school districts/DOE partners to provide data and progress updates and maintain and increase strength of relationships
  • Assist in the creation of district strategy and objectives and develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Pitch & create long-term implementation plans and best practices with district administrators, including illustrating how Everfi aligns to state standards and to their curriculum plans
  • Monitor and analyze district customers’ usage of the Everfi programs to find avenues to create short and long-term growth
  • Develop and maintain current knowledge on trends within the K-12 system, education technology, and Everfi’s platform and courses: understand standards alignment, challenges faced by educators, implementation best practices across the country, etc
  • Lead and support regional team on district memorandum of understanding (MOU) and data sharing/privacy agreement adoption, board approval, teacher training, communication, and implementation plans
  • Leverage district relationships to help plan student events in the region for K-12 customers, including suggesting school districts that would be a good fit for hosting the event, and conducting outreach to district administrators to gauge interest and ask for support in securing schools for participation in the event
  • Support customer success and sales teams by serving as a liaison between K-12 school districts and Everfi’s customers, including joining meetings with customers and prospects to speak to the need for this education, and working with school districts and the greater K-12 implementation team to ensure that the customers’ programming is being utilized at scale across the sponsored schools
  • Attend, exhibit and present at national and regional conferences to provide support for district administrators interested in Everfi’s products
  • Draft, compile, and submit responses to district RFPs that are applicable to the implementation of Everfi programs, in collaboration with the legal team
