Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience; Any combination of education, training, or experience which demonstrates the ability to successfully complete the major responsibilities and essential functions may be substituted for the degree and experience requirements.
  • Easily engages, communicates, collaborates, and maintains good relations with employees, judicial officials, judicial partners, and community agencies.
  • Leads by example, motivating, encouraging, and developing others to effectively supervisor employees.
  • Enjoys assisting in developing and implementing comprehensive services or programs for juveniles.
  • Effectively plans, organizes, implements, and provides guidance on case plans and utilizes resources and services in connection with case plans, addressing areas of community protection, competency development and accountability.
  • Thoroughly analyzes and reviews case issues and materials to make recommendations and fair and impartial decisions.
  • Enjoys preparing and presenting information and facts to the public, clients, or community groups.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and direct all juvenile court services.
  • Develop community-wide programs for juveniles.
  • Supervise employees.
  • Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive services or programs for juveniles.
  • Plan, organize, implement, and provide guidance on case plans.
