Junk Removal Laborer - Urgently Hiring
About The Position
As a Truck Team Member, you will help deliver an exceptional customer experience while performing physical, hands-on junk removal work. Duties include removing, sorting, recycling, donating, and properly disposing of items, as well as cleaning job sites. You will also interact with customers, answer questions, recommend services, provide cost estimates, explain pricing, and work to secure additional business, repeat customers, and referrals. You will collaborate with teammates and communicate with management to complete jobs efficiently. The posting describes full-time and part-time schedule options. Requirements
- Comfortably lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds safely.
- Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Confidence discussing pricing, identifying customer needs, and promoting additional services.
- Strong collaboration skills in a small-team environment.
- Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
- Have a clean driving record for the past three years for insurance purposes.
- Be punctual and dependable.
Responsibilities
- Lift, carry, and load items safely and efficiently into the truck.
- Identify items for recycling, donation, or proper disposal.
- Clean up job sites after removals.
- Greet customers, explain services, and answer questions.
- Recommend solutions tailored to customers’ junk removal needs.
- Identify and recommend additional services and applicable add-ons.
- Provide cost estimates and explain pricing to customers.
- Build rapport to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Work with teammates to plan, execute, and complete jobs efficiently.
- Communicate with the team and management to support smooth operations.
