About The Position

If you're an experienced hospitality professional with all-rounder skills such as F&B Service, Housekeeping, Commercial Cleaning or Bar and Retail who enjoys mentoring others, this is a unique opportunity to transition into a training career. You'll use your frontline experience to coach, develop and support our operational teams while working from our Perth-based training facility.

Requirements

  • 3 + years previous experience in a range of Utility, Housekeeping, Commercial Cleaning, Catering or F&B Hospitality environments
  • Experience coaching, mentoring or training team members on the job
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse groups
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365
  • Passion for developing people and maintaining high service standards
  • Commitment to workplace health, safety and food safety practices

Responsibilities

  • Deliver practical training and competency assessments to Utility and Attendant employees
  • Coach and develop team members across housekeeping, commercial cleaning, catering, retail, barista and hospitality operations
  • Promote and champion Compass Group's strong safety culture and training standards
  • Support onboarding programs, Academy activities, functions and events
  • Maintain training records and prepare reports for operational leaders
  • Assist in creating a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
