About The Position

The Junior Instructor will assist instructors with lessons while creating memorable guest experiences and developing the skills and knowledge needed to become an effective instructor throughout the season.

Requirements

• Must be 14 – 15yrs old
• Able to work well with others
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to adapt, take direction & excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must successfully complete instructor training (provided by Camelback)
• Patience and a love of the outdoors (may be exposed to extreme temperatures and weather)
• Must be capable of skiing/riding for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist in instructing groups and/or individuals in a fun & safe lesson format
• Assist with lesson check-in
• Promote safety and give guests knowledge to remain safe while they ski/ride
• Follow direction from supervisors to ensure the success of the Ski & Ride Academy program
• Greet guests and direct guests to proper lesson locations
• Assist the Ski/Snowboard School Supervisor daily in all other Ski & Ride Academy functions as required
