About The Position

The Junior Offer Manager will be responsible for planning and organizing the bid process, including the creation, editing, and finalization of proposal documents. This role involves coordinating and tracking bid activities, preparing cost estimates, and acquiring necessary supporting documentation. The position requires collaboration with Sales, Engineering, and Product departments, and may involve leading proposal teams.

Requirements

Degree in computer science, engineering, industrial engineering, business administration or other relevant field; alternatively, a comparable education at an air traffic control authority
At least two years of experience in a project team environment and/or project management with good communication skills
Excellent writing skills and very good knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel)
Good technical understanding with the ability to grasp and present complex technical topics
Excellent written and spoken English

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with the aerospace industry and with ATM and MHS systems, including the underlying technology, is considered a plus
Fluent German and French is an advantage

Responsibilities

Planning of the bid process within the team and in collaboration with Sales, Engineering and Product departments
Organization of proposals, creation, editing and finalization of documents and, if necessary, leading the proposal team
Coordination, tracking and control of general bid activities
Preparation of cost estimates in cooperation with the proposal team
Acquiring the necessary supporting documentation, certificates, notarizations, etc.
