About The Position

Secunetics provides network infrastructure intelligence services to government agencies and commercial clients. We work with our clients to help assess the performance of IT infrastructures, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for optimization/improvement. We are a focused team of enthusiastic colleagues working together on a diverse and challenging set of projects. We are looking for a Network Engineer to interface with our team and our clients to help assess the performance of IT infrastructures, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for optimization/improvement. Requirements

  • US Citizen and able to be clearable to the TS level

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
  • 1+ years of network administration
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure protocols such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth 2.0, SSH, SFTP, SCP, SNMPv3, Netflow, SMTP.
  • Experience automating data reporting or operational tasks with scripting languages (including Python and Bash).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline processes.
  • Solid understanding of other networking technologies (including TCP/IP, traffic analysis, TAPs, traffic brokers)
  • Solid understanding of routing technologies (including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, EVPN)
  • Solid understanding of technology concepts such as SDLC, systems engineering, IT performance management, IT operations, operational monitoring, security monitoring, and KPI
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing

Nice To Haves

  • Active US Secret or Top Secret clearance
  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Bash
  • CCNA and/or CCNP certifications
  • Experience in packet analysis (Wireshark)
  • Familiarity with ITILv3 concepts especially Service Operations
