About The Position

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and responsible Junior Publishing Manager (Junior Media Account Manager) to join our fast-paced and fast-growing organization. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities involved with the publishing of SHIFT44 advertising campaigns and clients. This candidate will be a part of the media buying team while working closely with the analytics and operations teams to ensure success for SHIFT44's advertising campaigns. This position is perfect for someone who is self-motivated, analytical, hungry, an extrovert, and a results-driven individual. We like to grow our employees in-house and give them the opportunity to move up in the company and grow their own teams. In addition to office duties, you will have the opportunity to meet and work with managers, executives, and C-suite members of the team. This position is on-site only.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and manage strong client and publisher relationships.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret media metrics, campaign data, and performance trends to drive optimization decisions.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a team environment and is highly coachable, with a willingness to learn from senior team members.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding of media metrics, campaign tracking, and performance optimization.

Nice To Haves

  • Any technical background (e.g., data analysis, marketing technology, or related fields) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with publishing partners, inquiring about their promotional channels and business success needs
  • Ensure communication is clear with publishing partners to properly match campaign inventory to available traffic inventory, discuss the type of traffic generated, and match the publisher traffic to appropriate campaigns, and campaign targeted demographics match what the publisher is looking for.
  • Prospecting and nurturing relationships with both new and old clients.
  • Responding to publisher requests in a timely manner.
  • Frequent monitoring of KPIs for existing book of clients; Monitor the publisher’s activity, analyze performance, identify areas of improvement, and recommend ways to increase revenues.
  • Executing optimizations for SHIFT44 campaigns, which includes identifying key features of quality traffic.
  • Be able to effectively relay the goals, values, and guidelines of SHIFT44 to publishing partners, always representing SHIFT44 in a positive & professional manner.
  • Maintain a high level of communication, recommend new campaigns for publishers, and provide performance feedback to the advertiser team.
  • Supply creative packages, campaign assets, and reporting to publishers as needed.
  • Represent SHIFT44 at industry conferences.
  • Strategize, plan, execute, and optimize all media channels & campaigns (ie, email, display, social media, etc.)
