About The Position

The Junior Business Analyst supports the Product and delivery teams on the platform with requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis. The role assists senior analysts, maintains backlog artifacts, and develops analysis skills while supporting a high-visibility federal program. The position requires a hybrid schedule with four days in Reston, Virginia, and client locations in the Washington, D.C. area as required.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule (four days) in Reston, Virginia, and at client locations in the Washington, D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a seven-year background check and obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and self-start.
• Ability to adapt and remain flexible as priorities shift.
• Enthusiasm and passion for learning and constant improvement.
• Openness to collaboration, feedback, and client requests.
• Must have at least one year of business analysis or related experience.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Agile concepts and user stories.

• Federal IT exposure.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
• Interest in AI-assisted analysis tooling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts.
• Maintain backlog items and requirements documentation.
• Support meeting facilitation, notes, and action tracking.
• Help prepare UAT scenarios and test data.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for documentation.
• Support senior analysts across delivery activities.
