About The Position

The Junior Business Analyst supports the Product and delivery teams on the platform with requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis. The role assists senior analysts, maintains backlog artifacts, and develops analysis skills while contributing to a high-visibility federal program.

The position supports requirements elicitation and documentation, user-story and acceptance-criteria development, backlog and requirements maintenance, meeting coordination, and preparation of user acceptance testing scenarios and test data. It also involves using AI-assisted tools for documentation and supporting senior analysts across delivery activities.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule (4 days) in Reston, VA, and at client locations in the Washington, D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize and self-start.
• Adaptability and flexibility as priorities shift.
• Enthusiasm and passion for learning and continuous improvement.
• Openness to collaboration, feedback, and client requests.

• 1+ years of business analysis or related experience.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Agile concepts and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Assist with requirements elicitation and documentation.
• Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting artifacts.
• Maintain backlog items and requirements documentation.
• Support meeting facilitation, note-taking, and action tracking.
• Help prepare UAT scenarios and test data.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools for documentation.
• Support senior analysts across delivery activities.
