About The Position

Cloud is our passion. For our further growth, our Azure team is looking for a Junior Azure Cloud Engineer (m/f/d) for the DACH region with a focus on Austria, to support us in the digital transformation of our customers on Azure. In our 15-person Azure team, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced Senior Engineers and Consultants. You will support our teams in the technical implementation of cloud infrastructures in demanding Azure projects. Your willingness to learn and your motivation to help shape the cleanest and most scalable solution count with us.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in IT (Computer Science, Business Informatics, or similar) or a comparable education with initial practical experience.
  • First contact or high interest in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud concepts and IaaS/PaaS is an advantage.
  • First practical experience with a scripting language (e.g., Python) and/or basic knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) is a plus.
  • You actively seek exchange, are willing to develop yourself intensively, and learn from experienced colleagues.
  • Very good German and English skills (at least B2 level) in speaking and writing.
  • Hands-on mentality: You are motivated to quickly acquire new knowledge and enjoy getting involved in implementation.
  • Consultant Mindset: You are enthusiastic about the way a consultant works and thus spur your professional development with us.
  • Team spirit and drive: You convince with result orientation and the joy of working with our diverse team.

Nice To Haves

  • A completed Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification is a plus, but not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Engineers and Consultants in the conception, documentation, and technical implementation of Azure Cloud solutions for our customers (e.g., Networking, Security, IaaS/PaaS).
  • Learn and apply best practices in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) and support the automation of cloud resources.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) and support teams in establishing 'Shift-left' security approaches.
  • Assist in capturing customer requirements and support the creation of technical specifications and solution concepts.
  • Actively participate in technical streams and acquire in-depth expertise in Azure Services, Cloud Governance, and the Azure Well-Architected Framework.
  • Support quality assurance, solution testing, and document the implementation in agile project teams.
