About The Position

DR. EMI ARPA Skin GmbH is seeking an experienced and responsible individual to lead their permanent sales counter in Hamburg. As the Counter Manager, you will be the driving force at the point of sale, responsible for sales, team management, and customer relationships. You will ensure that consultation, brand presentation, and customer experience are always at the highest level. In close collaboration with the HQ, you will significantly contribute to the sustainable growth of the brand. You will work operationally at the counter, take on leadership responsibility, and enjoy developing your team, creating structures, and measurably controlling performance.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in cosmetic or skincare retail, ideally as a Counter Manager or in a comparable leadership role.
  • Proven success in sales management focused on revenue and high-quality customer consultation.
  • Experience in team leadership, goal setting, coaching, and performance management.
  • Confident use of CRM systems and a structured, data-driven work approach.
  • Strong service and host mentality combined with a hands-on mentality and sense of responsibility.
  • Organizational skills, resilience, and a confident, professional demeanor.
  • Very good German language skills, English is an advantage.
  • Confident use of cash register systems and standard office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the economic success of the counter, including achieving defined sales, KPI, and CRM goals.
  • Active participation in sales and ensuring excellent, brand-typical customer consultation.
  • Maintenance, expansion, and strategic use of the CRM system (new customers, regular customers, follow-ups, VIC support).
  • Regular monitoring of relevant KPIs (e.g., sales, conversion, AOV, UPT) and derivation of suitable measures.
  • Planning and implementation of promotions, events, and product launches in coordination with HQ.
  • Leadership, development, and motivation of the team, including recruiting, structured onboarding, training, and performance reviews.
  • Organization of smooth counter operations (schedules, product availability, inventory, orders).
  • Ensuring a well-maintained, brand-compliant appearance according to visual and grooming guidelines.
  • Creation of regular reports and close coordination with Sales, Commercial, and HQ.
