About The Position
Amentum is seeking an entry level mechanical engineer interested in HVAC and building design for their Annapolis Junction location. The candidate should have a demonstrated record of achievement and work ethic to join this high performing group committed to delivering consistently high-quality work and service to our clients.
Requirements
- Degreed Mechanical Engineer from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Zero to three years of experience in HVAC and building design.
- Understanding of HVAC and heat transfer principles.
- Full-time in the office.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office suite of software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Paint.
- Competent with AutoCAD.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of Revit.
Responsibilities
- Design HVAC systems for buildings.
- Perform heat transfer calculations.
- Utilize AutoCAD for design.
- Potentially utilize Revit for design.
