About The Position

DMI, LLC is seeking an Jr. IT Asset Management Specialist to join their team. This role involves assisting in the tracking and maintenance of IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals. The specialist will support asset inventory updates, perform basic audits, and coordinate the deployment and retrieval of IT equipment. Additionally, they will assist with software license tracking, respond to asset-related service requests, and maintain documentation of asset records. The role also supports the procurement process and collaborates with IT teams for asset tagging and reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology or other related field plus 0- 2 years of experience, or High School Diploma plus 6 -8 years of experience
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

Assist in tracking and maintaining IT assets, including hardware, software, and peripherals.
Support asset inventory updates by logging new acquisitions, disposals, and transfers in asset management systems.
Perform basic audits of IT assets to ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Help coordinate the deployment and retrieval of IT equipment for employees and projects.
Assist with software license tracking and compliance reporting.
Respond to asset-related service requests and escalate issues as needed.
Maintain documentation of asset records, ownership changes, and warranty details.
Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes and processing asset-related orders.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure proper tagging and labeling of assets.
Generate reports on IT asset inventory and assist in data analysis.
