Master Plumbing is seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber who possesses strong technical skills and a commitment to excellence. This role is for a professional who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving problems, treats customers with respect, and is willing to mentor apprentices. A key aspect of this role is to lead by example, mentor apprentices, and deliver exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Active Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington Journeyman Plumbing License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously
- Proven plumbing and mechanical skills
- Ability to work independently while also leading and mentoring apprentices
- Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read, write and complete scopes of work with limited supervision
- Safety-first mindset
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Commitment to exceptional customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Clean background
- Ability to pass a drug test
Responsibilities
- Put safety first on every job and follow company policies and procedures
- Perform both emergency and non-emergency plumbing, and drain-cleaning services
- Operate drain-cleaning, hydro jetting and sewer camera equipment
- Diagnose problems and complete quality work with professionalism and attention to detail
- Write, clear and detailed invoices proposals and job reports
- Work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces, low-clearance areas and heights
- Work outdoors and in changing weather conditions
- Safely operate a company vehicle
- Read, understand and complete scopes of work with limited supervision
- Lead by example and mentor apprentices, helping them build both technical skills and confidence
- Deliver the kind of customer service that turns first-time customers into cheerleader customers
