About The Position

Journeyman Plumber – Lead, Mentor & Problem Solver. Master Plumbing is looking for an experienced Journeyman Plumber who brings strong technical skills, with a commitment to doing things right! We’re not looking for someone who simply wants to punch a clock. We’re looking for a professional who takes pride in their craft, enjoys solving problems, treats customers with respect, and is willing to help apprentices grow. Requirements

Active Idaho, Montana, Oregon or Washington Journeyman Plumbing License
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and courteously
Proven plumbing and mechanical skills
Ability to work independently while also leading and mentoring apprentices
Strong problem-solving and mechanical aptitude
Ability to read, write, and complete scopes of work with limited supervision
Safety-first mindset
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Commitment to exceptional customer service
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Clean motor vehicle record
Clean background
Ability to pass a drug test

Responsibilities

Put safety first on every job and follow company policies and procedures
Perform both emergency and non-emergency plumbing, and drain-cleaning services
Operate drain-cleaning, hydro jetting and sewer camera equipment
Diagnose problems and complete quality work with professionalism and attention to detail
Write, clear and detailed invoices, proposals and job reports
Work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces, low-clearance areas and heights
Work outdoors and in changing weather conditions
Safely operate a company vehicle
Read, understand and complete scopes of work with limited supervision
Lead by example and mentor apprentices, helping them build both technical skills and confidence
Deliver the kind of customer service that turns first-time customers into cheerleader customers!
