About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Jockey Driver to support daily warehouse and yard operations in Garden City, Georgia. The role involves safely moving and positioning trailers in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with warehouse staff and management, and helping maintain an organized yard. The schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 6:50 AM and continuing until finished. Pay is $21.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and any required qualifications for operating assigned equipment.
• Ability to maneuver trailers safely in tight spaces.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Dependable and punctual, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous jockey truck, yard driver, or hostler experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move trailers safely between designated yard and dock locations.
• Position trailers for loading and unloading.
• Coordinate trailer movements with warehouse staff and management.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient yard.
• Conduct equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow company safety guidelines and operating procedures.
• Communicate effectively with team members to support smooth daily operations.
• Assist with other yard duties as needed.
