About The Position

The Jet Operator operates and tends to the machine that dyes fabric. The role involves interpreting dye schedules, dye packets, and set-up sheets; navigating computer systems; sewing seams using an industrial sewing machine; and moving heavy fabric loads in a hot, wet environment. This is a full-time manufacturing position scheduled Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 1 a.m. Weekends and overtime may be required as job duties demand. Little to no travel is expected. The position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to interpret dye schedules, dye packets, and set-up sheets.
• Ability to navigate computer systems such as JOMAR and Adaptive Control System.
• Ability to sew seams with an industrial sewing machine.
• Good color and shade perception.
• Ability to push and pull heavy loads of fabric in a hot, wet environment.
• Must be able to operate a tugger or forklift; certification to operate these units is required.
• 20/20 vision or corrected 20/20 vision.
