About The Position

JBS Live Pork, LLC is hiring a Remote Field Manager for the Southeast Iowa to Northeast Missouri region. The position works directly with a designated group of contract pork producers to troubleshoot production problems, recommend solutions, improve production, manage producer relationships, and document on-farm reports. The Field Manager works with the Business Manager to develop solutions and make decisions affecting the area and business-unit profitability. Farm visits, producer meetings, and information sharing support producers in maximizing farm production. The position typically manages 20–25 producer sites representing 50,000–100,000 pig spaces and approximately $5–10 million in pig inventory, and assists with producer relationships and contract renewals. The role includes producer training, facility and environmental compliance auditing, marketing animals, administrative work, and frequent travel. The successful applicant should reside within driving distance of farms between Bloomfield, Iowa, and Kirksville, Missouri, or be willing to relocate to the Southeast Iowa region. The job is salaried and remote, with frequent travel to farms and occasional overnight travel. The work takes place in a physically demanding live-production environment. It may involve walking through animal pens, lifting, and working in summer heat and winter cold, as well as exposure to odors, dust, and gases that may be uncomfortable or hazardous if proper procedures are not followed. A maintained vehicle no more than six years old is required for frequent weekly travel. The position is eligible for medical, dental, and vision coverage after 60 days; paid sick leave, vacation, and six company-observed holidays; a 401(k) company match after the first year of service, subject to the vesting schedule; tuition support through the Better Futures Program; leadership training; and participation in the annual bonus plan. New team members undergo post-offer drug, alcohol, and background checks. Employment eligibility must be documented by the end of the third day of work.
