About The Position

JBS Live Pork, LLC is hiring a Remote Field Manager to support contract pork producers in the Southeast Iowa to Northeast Missouri region, between Bloomfield, Iowa, and Kirksville, Missouri. The position works with a designated group of producers to troubleshoot operational problems, develop production improvements, manage customer relationships, document on-farm reports, and support decisions affecting the area and business-unit profitability. The role typically manages 20–25 producer sites with 50,000–100,000 pig spaces and approximately $5–10 million in pig inventory, and assists with producer relationships and contract renewals. Applicants should live within driving distance of the farms in the specified region or be willing to relocate. The Field Manager works independently with producers and in coordination with a Business Manager, using farm visits, producer meetings, coaching, training, and information sharing to help maximize production. The position requires frequent travel, including approximately 80% day travel and occasional overnight travel, and work in physically demanding live-production environments and varying weather and site conditions. The position is salaried and reports to the Production Manager.
