Java Developer
About The Position
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Java Developer to build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system. The role involves working with Java and Spring-based REST APIs, a Web 2.0 framework, and a continuous integration environment. The developer will join a team building next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies. The role is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with an on-site schedule on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and a hybrid work arrangement. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and possess an active final Secret security clearance. Blue Rose Consulting Group offers $5,000 in relocation assistance to a qualified hire relocating to meet the on-site schedule.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of Java development experience building enterprise applications.
- At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing software solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java.
- At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.
- Ability to report to the client site in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Active final Secret security clearance.

- Experience with React front-end development.
- Experience with HTML/CSS.
- Experience with Spring/Java MVC development building enterprise applications using a React front end.
- Experience supporting a large-scale Federal IT Program.
- Experience with the SAFe Agile delivery framework.
