About The Position

The Java Developer will implement business logic for a message translation project involving a rules engine. The work includes reformatting messages according to applicable payment rules. The business logic will be deployed in Kubernetes and in containerized applications that run on premises. The role is based in New York, NY, with a hybrid schedule requiring three days on site. The contract-to-hire position has a listed pay range of $70–$80; the pay period is not specified. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree.
Three to five years of experience.
Strong Java skills, including design and principles.
Experience with Spring Boot.
Experience with relational databases and ability to run basic SQL queries.
Cloud experience and understanding of basic cloud design principles and scalability; a specific cloud provider is not required.
Kubernetes experience for containerization.
Strong algorithms, data structures, and problem-solving skills.
