About The Position

Wipro Limited is a technology services and consulting company focused on digital transformation. This role is based in Irving, Texas, and follows a hybrid work arrangement. The Java Developer will design, develop, implement, and maintain mission-critical enterprise Java applications, with an emphasis on Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs. The position calls for application development experience using Java 7 or 8 and the Spring ecosystem, following an established software development life cycle. The expected compensation range is $60,000 to $135,000; final compensation depends on factors including location, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental options, disability insurance, paid time off, and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience implementing Java/Spring Boot microservices.
5–8 years of experience.
Experience in application development using Java 7 or Java 8 and the Spring Framework.
Mandatory experience with JAX-RS (Java API for RESTful Web Services).
Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Data, Swagger, Tomcat 8, Maven, Jenkins, SVN, Git, Mountebank, and Postman/Newman.
Familiarity with the current Spring platform and its capabilities.
Good understanding of web application security.
Excellent technical, logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
