About The Position

The Java Developer will design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves building and enhancing microservices, developing data-intensive solutions, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and containerizing and deploying applications. The developer will collaborate with business, product, and engineering stakeholders on financial services programs and support cloud modernization and platform transformation initiatives. The position is listed as an 11-month contract in New Jersey, with a hybrid flexibility note and a stated requirement of five days onsite.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on development expertise; the posting specifies this for various roles.
• Hands-on experience with Java 8, 11, or 17.
• Experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Docker and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.

• Experience with Python.
• Experience designing and developing scalable, cloud-native applications.
• Strong hands-on understanding of API design, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems.
• Financial services experience is mandatory.
