About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer for a long-term contract position in Charlotte, NC. This role requires a strong background in Java development, including expertise in Spring Boot, NoSQL databases, and event-driven architectures. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Microservice architecture and RESTful API development, with familiarity in containerization tools being a plus. This is a hybrid role, and we are looking for W2 candidates only, no C2C.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 9+ years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong expertise in Java SE and multithreading/concurrent programming.
- Extensive experience with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
- Proven experience implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka.
- Solid understanding of Microservice architecture and RESTful API development.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Responsibilities
