About The Position

The Janitorial Team Member is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing office spaces, meeting rooms, bathrooms, and public areas at Wintrust Sports Complex. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to perform non-routine cleaning and special projects as needed. The role also includes responding to guest requests and providing courteous service, answers, and directions.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Willingness to work a variety of shifts.
Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
Ability to take direction.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 pounds as necessary.
Availability for a flexible schedule that includes a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

Housekeeping or janitorial experience.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building as directed.
Monitor for spills throughout the facility and clean them as needed.
Clean all floor surfaces and glass in the facility.
Clean and maintain bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, and restocking supplies.
Clean guest seating and the lobby area.
Remove facility trash and recycling.
Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as directed by management.
Provide courteous and friendly service to guests and provide answers and directions as needed.
Complete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders.
Remove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pickup.
Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
