About The Position

A Janitorial Supervisor at Velociti Services leads a team of cleaners and ensures work areas are cleaned to company and client standards. The supervisor responds to client enquiries and specific requests, communicates cleaning requests to the team, and helps deliver a best-in-class cleaning service across the worksite or building. The role includes staff supervision, scheduling, supply and equipment inventory, safety awareness, employee training, customer relations, inspections, and general cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise cleaning staff, focusing on cleanliness standards and on-duty behavior.
• Ensure a best-in-class cleaning service is delivered throughout the worksite or building.
• Review work schedules.
• Track inventory and order cleaning materials, supplies, and equipment.
• Monitor cleaning activities.
• Ensure staff are aware of health and safety policies and procedures.
• Resolve disputes between staff, complaints, and conflicts.
• Train new employees.
• Perform general cleaning as needed.
• Communicate with management.
• Discipline and reward employees.
• Maintain good relationships with customers.
• Conduct worksite inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
