About The Position

Allied Universal Janitorial Services is seeking a Janitorial Supervisor to supervise, train, and work alongside a crew performing daily cleaning of mall common areas, including restrooms, the food court, and other public areas. The role pays $16.95 per hour and is full-time, day shift. The supervisor may also need to adapt to variable shift hours, including weekends and nights, and be available on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, year-round, to handle site requests or incidents.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent for full-time positions.
• Have at least one year of supervisory experience.
• Communicate effectively with customers, patrons, and employees, assisting others in a friendly and engaging manner.
• Have excellent written, verbal, and customer service skills.
• Know cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and reliability in completing repetitive tasks.
• Be able to work independently and collaboratively with integrity.
• Have experience in operations, diagnostics, and maintaining HVAC/chiller systems.
• Have strong maintenance skills and knowledge, and computer proficiency.
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct, and communicate effectively with all management levels.
• Be willing to work hands-on alongside staff where needed.
• Be able to adapt quickly to changes in goals and directives, multitask, exercise independent judgment, and make sound decisions.
• Know OSHA and safety standards for housekeeping, maintenance, and landscaping programs.
• Be able to operate machinery, including high lifts, motorized tools, and vehicles.
• Be able to climb ladders and walk on the facility rooftop.
• Be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds, and frequently and repetitively bend, stoop, kneel, reach overhead, drive, and operate equipment.
• Be available on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, to handle site requests and incidents.
• Be flexible and able to work variable shift hours, including possible weekends and nights, as needed.
• Have reliable transportation.
