About The Position

Environment Control is seeking an energetic, bilingual Spanish/English speaking leader to supervise the work activities of janitorial personnel in multiple commercial and industrial establishments. This role involves travel to various locations including Lorain, Elyria, Rocky River, Wellington, Amherst, Avon/Avon Lake, Westlake, North Ridgeville, and surrounding areas. The position is part-time, working 4-6 hours per shift, Monday-Friday, starting at 6 PM.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish/English speaking ability.
• Must have an eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Must have few to zero moving violations.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Proof of insurance.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Must be reliable and have excellent attendance.
• Must pass a drug test.
• Must have a clean driving record to use the company vehicle.
• Must speak Spanish and English fluently.

Nice To Haves

• Previous supervisory experience (2 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in janitorial services.
• Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
• Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
• Record personnel data on specified forms.
• Recommends personnel actions, such as hires and discharges, to ensure proper staffing.
• Confers with staff to resolve production and personnel problems.
• Assists with start-ups of new accounts and fills in for openings and call-offs at accounts.
• Covers open sections/routes when employees are absent.
• Trains new and existing employees on proper methods and procedures.
• Ensures accounts are stocked with supplies and equipment and takes periodic inventories.
• Investigates complaints regarding janitorial services and takes corrective action when necessary.
