Evening Operations Manager-Janitorial (Operations)
About The Position
Woodley Building Maintenance is seeking an Evening Operations Manager for janitorial operations. The company provides commercial cleaning services across the Kansas City area and describes itself as a long-standing provider focused on maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for offices, facilities, and businesses. The manager oversees janitorial staff and helps ensure their duties are completed on time. The role involves scheduling shifts, monitoring attendance, reporting absences, conducting performance reviews, and making recommendations to management regarding promotions, transfers, and dismissals. The position requires knowledge of cleaning methods, strong communication, and effective leadership. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. The position requires standing and walking for the entire shift.
Requirements
- Three years of commercial cleaning experience or experience in a related industry.
- Knowledge of various cleaning methods.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.
Responsibilities
- Schedule staff shifts.
- Monitor staff attendance and report absences.
- Conduct staff performance reviews.
