About The Position

The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the property in a first-class manner, with attention to detail across grounds, interior cleanliness, restrooms and locker rooms, sidewalks, and safety. The role assists with general building and equipment maintenance and repairs, custodial and sanitation duties, seasonal property upkeep, and receiving department tasks. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Workdays and hours are based on business needs and may change. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 2 years of prior maintenance experience.
• Enthusiasm about the Medical Marijuana Industry.

Nice To Haves

• Prior custodial experience.
• FBI/BCI state-mandated background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general maintenance and repairs of building equipment and structures as directed by the Operations Manager.
• Perform custodial duties and sanitize areas to help maintain a clean working environment for staff and visitors.
• Perform seasonal property upkeep, including spreading ice melt as needed, checking pavement for heaving and trip hazards, pulling unsightly weeds, and checking landscaping and fences for damage.
• Maintain the cleanliness of areas such as the parking area, entrances, walkways, docks, and common areas.
• Detect and report damaged or broken tools, equipment, or vehicles to the Operations Manager.
• Assist the Operations Manager with receiving department tasks, including receiving and logging packages, keeping the area clean, and managing inventory.
• Perform other various tasks when needed.
