About The Position

The Janitorial Floater is a full-time frontline essential worker who performs cleaning and disinfecting duties at facilities using 4M’s practices, supplies, and equipment. No prior janitorial experience is required; training is provided. The role works Monday through Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m., with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, and pays $24 per hour. A driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required. The position requires COVID-19 and flu vaccinations. Duties are representative and may vary.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
No prior janitorial experience is required; training is provided.
Pass a drug screening and background check.
Comply with social-distancing requirements and safety guidelines.
Wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when required by the position and OSHA requirements.
Have a driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
Receive COVID-19 and flu vaccinations.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect facilities using 4M’s practices, green-seal-certified supplies, and equipment.
Represent 4M in a reliable, courteous, and resourceful manner.
Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
Remove trash.
Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
Report needed repairs or replacements and identify leaks or drips.
